Photo Op, curated by Exhibits Director Robert Bowman, explores how artists optimize the opportunities afforded by the powerful, widely available medium of photography while honoring their own personal vision. Through the selection of unusual subject matter, a unique approach to a common subject matter, or the use of new or special photographic process, the artists included in the exhibition achieve a variety of solutions to the challenge of making the photographic medium their own.
